Uniting the community to care for and protect Bali’s dogs.

Spay and Neuter Program

We can't adopt or rescue our way out of the dog and cat overpopulation problem.

One pair of dogs and their offspring can produce up to 67,000 dogs in just six years.

Bali is home to approximately 600,000 homeless dogs struggling to survive.

Sterilization is the only solution for dog and cat overpopulation and is the foundation of our program. It prevents suffering, so that unwanted puppies and kittens aren't born to be thrown away and live short, brutal lives.

Hazards of life on the street are numerous. In our nearby villages and beaches, there are regular outbreaks of parvovirus and distemper that rob discarded puppies and kittens of the basic right to live. Some of the most heartbreaking losses come when the dog meat traders come in the middle of the night and beat or poison our adult dogs who have already suffered so much.

We hold spay and neuter days as often as funding allows, making a direct impact on the stray population. In just one month, we achieved an incredible milestone: 220 dogs and cats in the village were sterilized!

Safe Houses

Our two sanctuaries provide safe, nurturing homes where vulnerable dogs learn they are safe, loved, and valued.

Here, vulnerable dogs find more than just shelter—they find safety, love, and a place where they truly belong. These warm, nurturing homes give rescued dogs the chance to heal and thrive. While we always hope our dogs will find families of their own, for some, this is their forever home. From the moment they arrive, every puppy and dog is welcomed as part of the family, joining the pack in a loving, cage-free environment that replaces stress with comfort and joy.

Each Safe House is designed to feel like home, with cozy sleeping spots, spacious garden play areas, and plenty of room to run and play. One sanctuary is even just a short stroll from the beach, where our dogs can enjoy the fresh air and freedom they deserve. Here, they’re free to interact, build friendships, and simply be dogs—happy, carefree, and loved.

Our Safe Houses also make it possible for us to care for more dogs. By moving away from expensive vet clinics and boarding facilities, we can treat most cases right here, saving precious funds while giving our dogs the best care possible.

Here, every dog is family. Every dog is safe. And every dog has a chance to live a life full of love, comfort, and happiness.

Street Feeding

Our feeding program is the only access these dogs and cats have to nutritious food. The rest of the time they scavenge through the rubbish tip for scraps. You will see tiny abandoned puppies check every inch of ground for bits of food or dogs eating plastic bags that were used to carry food. Feeding is also the time we do health checks, see if anyone is missing and assess treatment for newly dumped dogs.
